Hello Superstars!
I wanted to thank you for coming to this page during our last few weeks of school and doing work despite not being able to engage in the music-making process. I hope to see you all in the Fall, healthy and ready to sing, play, dance, and have have fun. Until then, I am leaving the activity ideas below just in case anyone wants to keep busy.

Things you can do if you want to stay busy:
Finally, this last activity is NOT ready to be turned-in. However, if you have extra time, you can start the brainstorming and planning stage for your super excellent entry in NEXT YEAR's Reflections Contest. The theme for the 2020-2021 Reflections Contest has been announced! Entries can be submitted in the following categories: artwork, photography, literature (including poetry), music composition, film production, and dance choreography. See the image and video below to get started. Rules and entry directions will be released next school year.
- visit my YouTube playlist for all grade levels and choose one video to watch
- visit my YouTube playlist for singers and do some singing
- check out my YouTube teacher feed and watch both videos
- take an online music class (scroll down to your grade level and then choose a week)
- practice your rhythms, practice your melody singing, or practice your listening
- record yourself singing a song, playing an instrument, or dancing
- find something online that is music-related, that you think others would enjoy
- watch a performance (concert, musical, recital) on PBS or another resource
- visit Classics for Kids and explore the multiple games and lessons
- create an instrument from things you find at home
- watch a video from a Music Teacher at You Can Play That (links to Facebook)

- ukulele: for those students with a ukulele at home: learn to play your ukulele
- guitar: for those students with a guitar at home: learn to play your guitar
- recorder: for those students in fourth and fifth grade who have their recorder at home: continue on your learning adventure
